# Autoblogging.ai article writer

Use this skill when a user wants an SEO blog article written (in 38 languages), optionally with FAQs, key takeaways, AI images, infographics and SERP-based outlines, and optionally posted to their WordPress site.

## Requirements

- An Autoblogging.ai account on the Starter plan or above (API access), from https://dash.autoblogging.ai/signup
- The account email and an API key from the dashboard (API Keys section). Never guess these; ask the user.
- Credits: 1 credit per base article; +1 each for godlikemode, imagegeneration, ai_proofreader and infographics.

## Endpoint

`POST https://dash.autoblogging.ai/api/v1/articles` with a JSON body. Every request includes `dashboard_email` and `api_key`.

### 1. Create an article

`request_type: "create_article"` plus the article settings. Required fields and accepted values:

| Field | Values |
|---|---|
| title | the article title |
| language | English, EnglishUK, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Portuguese_BR, Italian, Dutch, and others listed in the docs |
| length | short, medium, long |
| tone_of_voice | first-person, second-person, third-person |
| writing_style | premium_writing_style_1, conversational, professional, witty, snippet_optimizer, less_ai_words |
| type_of_article | informative, listicle, places, service_pages |
| faqs, keytakeaways, externallinks, videoembed, imagegeneration, godlikemode, outlinefromcompetition, intense_optimize, ai_proofreader, infographics, applyautogenerateslugs, applyautogeneratetitles, combotpush, wordpresspush | "yes" or "no" |
| serp_location | two-letter country code, e.g. "us" |
| source_context | "na" or up to 300 characters of context |

If `wordpresspush` is "yes", also send `wp_siteurl`, `wp_username`, `wp_password` (an application password), `wp_category` and `wp_status` ("publish" or "draft"). Optional: `project_name`, `wp_customtext`, `proofreading_guidelines`.

The response contains `article_id`, `credits_used` and `credits_remaining`.

### 2. Fetch the article

`request_type: "fetch_article"` with `url_token` set to the `article_id` from step 1. The response `status` is `pending` (poll again in about 60 seconds), `completed` (the HTML is in `final_article`) or `failed`.

## Errors

- 400: missing or invalid field (the message names it)
- 401: wrong email or API key
- 403: the plan does not include API access (upgrade at https://dash.autoblogging.ai/billing)
